 Overall Supervision of the University's whole library functions including selection and acquisition of library materials, cataloging, classification, information storage, retrieval, and reference services provision.  Conducting library orientation and literacy sessions on different library resources to ensure complete utilization of whole library resources. Provide SDI services (Selective Dissemination of information) to faculty and researchers. Searching and downloading bibliographic records/full-text material for faculty and students.  Management of overall library budgeting for library resources, equipment resources, and books. Managing and training library staff. Strategic planning for future development of the Library. Training the researchers and students and initiating and monitoring library programs and services.

• Plan, design and deliver a network of resource centres to implement the delivery of English support services to teachers across Punjab as part of PEELI project• Support the continuing professional development (CPD) offer to teachers across Punjab through resource centres•Build and streamline the relationship with Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) for effective delivery of PEELI project Achievements• Successfully negotiated with Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) and Government Colleges for Elementary Teacher Training (GCETs) to setup resource centres for EMI teacher training support services. British Council provided initial setup infrastructure with 5 computers, one year high speed 8 MB Internet connection and an initial book collection of 100 most widely used ELT titles and GCETs are bearing the maintenance/running cost of the resource centres. • Successfully achieved the target of setting up six pilot resource centres at 6 GCETs in Punjab at GCET Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan • Introduced SKYPE tutor groups for CPD support to district teacher educators/teachers at these six resource centres right after the establishment of first resource centre on October 14, 2014. So far more than 1000 DTEs have been trained in CPD programme. •Directorate of Staff Development (DSD) has been sole PEELI partner from Government of Punjab side whose primary role is to provide teaching and learning support to all primary and elementary school teachers in Punjab. • When I joined in August 2013, PEELI as a partner was not at all visible in DSD academic training calendar. I successfully streamlined the relationship with DSD that now PEELI is embeded in each DSD training both at DSD and in districts across Punjab. As a result of this streamlined relationship PEELI has now Directly trained 4,536 educational individuals directly Indirectly reached 110, 884 primary and elementary teachersTotal number of Children reached 3, 991, 824
