The role of the Planning Engineer is required to develop the most appropriate method and sequence of shut down and turnaround activities, in conjunction with the Plant Manager (PM), Head of Engineering (HOE), Maintenance Manager (MM) and Operation Manager (OM), in order to ensure the maintenance activities is completed timely, safely, on budget no interrupt plant operation.- Reported directly to Maintenance Manager (MM)- Managed maintenance activities including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), calibration and validation- Lead the teams by reviewing Maintenance Work Order (MWO) and highlights to engineers- Lead in the improvement of the process and procedures of maintenance activities that require equipment shutdown and highlights to operation department- Supervised for any maintenance activities in plant- Coordinate yearly Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) schedule/planning for equipment inspection- Collaborated with Electrical department by preparing schedule/planning for Relay Protection Calibration- Manage to prepare monthly summary report for maintenance activities- Lead teams on chiller operation and maintenance including eight (8) Steam Absorption Chiller and four (4) Electrical Centrifugal Chiller (ECC)- Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance management of chillers and any related equipment for producing chilled water- Planned maintenance activities on chiller including PM and CM- Liaised with engineers or contractor on maintenance activities- Prepared documentation including Purchasing Requisition Form (PRF), Request For Quotation (RFQ) and invoices- Managed to perform routine on-site inspection of chiller system- Joined contractor on performing rectification activities of chillers- Conducted on-job training to Field Operator on routine monitoring of chillers- Reviewed reports from contractor after rectification work completed

The role of the Engineering Planner and Plant Performance Executive is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.- Reported directly to Head of Engineering (HOE)- Assisted HOE to monitor work activities related to project progress to ensure no interfere on plant operation- Focused on develop technical solutions and strategies on project activities including restoration and integration from Co-Generation Plant to Electrical Plant- Participated to Implement and coordinate the general and detailed (by phase) scheduling of the project to ensure timing consistency in execution Collaborated and coordinated planning regarding plant expansion activities with HOE, Maintenance Manager (MM) and Operation Manager (OM)- Lead meeting with HOE, MM and OM to brief on current situation of project progress that involve maintenance work and plant operation to ensure no redundancies/overlapping issues- Engaged with project, maintenance and operation teams to ensure all project deliverable in line with project schedule- Supervised for any activities including maintenance, operation and project- Managed maintenance activities including Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), instruments calibration and validation- Supervised operations activities including equipment rotation, key equipment performance monitoring, quality checks, scheduling of statutory required inspections, testing and monitoring- Lead teams by reviewing Maintenance Work Order (MWO) and highlights to engineers- Lead in the improvement of the process and procedures of maintenance activities that require equipment shutdown and highlights to operation teams- Coordinate yearly Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) schedule/planning for equipment inspection- Manage to prepare monthly summary report for maintenance activities and plant performance

Plan and organize the operation and Plant activities to achieve best optimization and efficiency which produce chilled water for centralize air conditioning for KLIA customers and electrical power generation.Maintain and control chilled water and electricity plant KLIA to supply chilled water all customer activities in operating high technology machine consist of Steam Absorption Chillers,Electrical Chillers,Gas Turbines,Boilers and auxiliaries equipment.- Responsible to monitor, maintain and optimize process parameter (level, flow, temperature, pressure) within operating requirements.- To monitor all process condition trough scanning of data by using the instrumentation located in the control room and to make adjustments as necessary to keep data within safe limits and within the established operating parameter values.- To notice any abnormal operating condition and to communicate with the external operator until normal running condition are set up.- Closely monitor the gas turbine, including operation, maintenance & troubleshooting.- Manage in plant shutdown overhaul & troubleshoot.- Manage all the plant working area free from hazard such as gas, chemical, fire, and leaking, high pressure/temperature.- Execute basic equipment care activities during the shift equipment reliability.- Prioritize and direct the daily maintenance activities to support equipment reliability.- Assist superior in preparation of accident/incident report- Communicate with control room / supervisor immediately in case of any parameters abnormalities- Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures- Liaise with customers to do the metering monitoring activity for chilled water flow supply at the customer’s pump room- Handle inspection for fire alarm system, fire water system, workplaces, in good condition (plant safety inspection)- Maintain adequate housekeeping according to Company’s HSE procedures

District Cooling System (DCS) is a new section under the Special Project Division at MRCB. Established in 2015, MRCB acknowledged that DCS played important roles in reducing carbon foot print by using energy efficiently, hence under the direction of the Executive Director directly, DCS are entrusted to ensure the establishment of District Cooling Plants within the group.Plant monitor, operation & maintenance for:- Semasa District Cooling Plant located at KL Sentral (1800 RT design capacity)- PJ (Petaling Jaya) Sentral District Cooling Plant (3165 RT design capacity)- Responsible to operate and perform monitoring operation for plant activities to produces chilled water to customers- Ensure and monitor of all equipment parameters in a good conditions- Confident to start and shutdown system or equipment as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).- Proactive in monitoring equipment, including operation, maintenance & troubleshooting- Enhanced visual inspection on electrical and mechanical parts to aware sign of faulty in the system- Implement daily logs and records of all operation activities at plant- Streamline operation and monitor the performances of process equipment in safe manner and ensure the availability of spare equipment in emergency situation- Engaged with engineer to involve in plant shutdown & troubleshooting- Assist superior in preparation of accident/incident report- Maintained positive relationships with customers- Engaged with customers on the monitoring activity for flow chilled water supply at the customer’s pump room- Managed inspection for fire alarm system, fire water system, workplaces, in good condition (plant safety inspection)- Perform other duties assigned (ad-hoc)- Responsible to respond and attend on emergency calls or breakdown as needed- Reduced accident / incident at plant by follows all company safety rules- Maintain adequate housekeeping according to company’s procedures
