 Enhance the quality of the credit portfolio of the Bank in line with growth targets and risk appetite.  Closely monitor market trends, explore business opportunities, and identify & disseminate relevant information.  Contribute to the implementation of strategic plans, budgets and portfolio management  Grow the asset portfolio while keeping in line with the credit appetite of the Bank.  Timely escalation of triggers and flags pertaining to any material change in risk profile of their respective credit portfolios, including but not limited to, rationalization of limits / outstanding and amendments in security structures.  Ensure that a minimum Credit Proposal quality is maintained across the portfolio.  Act as a bridge between the relevant BU and RMG for response to queries and to ensure an appropriate turnaround of approvals.  Closely coordinate with the Relationship team to conduct a more detailed financial analysis of credits and advise on facility structuring and preparation of credit packages.  Make efforts for rehabilitation and minimization of high-risk / classified accounts.  Ensure timely turnaround on the credit issues & credit proposals. In case of any delay (due to information pending with the client, etc.), submit an extension request prior to the Credit Proposal expiry.  Compliance with all applicable regulatory & internal policies, internal audit requirements and conditions imposed by credit approval authorities.

 Reviewing and recommending Credit Risk Appraisals / restructuring of all SAM (Corporate, Commercial & Small Medium Enterprises) clients on country vide basis for approval. Reviewing and monitoring all legal cases pending with courts. Plan & design ways to improve turnaround time especially liaison with relationship mangers and approving authorities. Meeting with clients for better structuring of credit proposals. Scrutiny of all statements relevant to SAM accounts. Identification of problems and taking remedial measures for their rectification.  Monitoring regarding compliance of prudential regulations, credit policies, internal control policies and management policies of the Bank pertaining to SAM.
