From July 2015 I advanced to a position of Senior Manager in Assurance Practice of the Firm. I am currently managing Assurance and Non-Assurance Engagements of Multinational and Domestic clients.

From July 2013, I have been promoted to a position of Manager. I have more than 8 years of experience providing professional assurance /audit services and non assurance services to large multinational and domestic group entities and other entities in accordance with International Standards on Auditing as issued by International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) as issued by International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and adopted in Pakistan. I have through understanding of IFRS and ISA (including other non assurance engagements) issued by IASB and IAASB respectively. I hold credibility in the financial reporting based on IFRS and have outstanding knowledge of IFRS and current issues in financial reporting. I have strong management skills coupled with excellent communication skills. In addition to my primary responsibility as Assurance Engagement Manager, I conduct technical accounting analysis related to all significant and complex transactions and its implications and prepare position paper to provide technical accounting advise based on requirement of IFRS and other interpretations / conclusions formed by Firm's Technical Professionals including guidance issued by ICAP. Owing to my proclivity towards IFRS and its development, I am one of the principal technical resources on accounting and financial reporting matters to Firm's professionals and clients, and also assist local Department of Professional Practice Team Member in responding technical queries and preparing technical papers and developing recommendations. I also assist Member of Accounting Advisory Committee of ICAP in preparing recommendations or technical papers concerning adoption of new / revised IFRS and Cost Accounting Framework.

As Manager, I am managing Assurance, Non Assurance and Other Related Services Engagements for both Domestic as well as Multinational Clients of the Firm. Those services are provided in accordance with International Standards on Auditing issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB). I am managing Firm's prestige Assurance and Non Assurance Clients. I have a diversified Client portfolio from Manufacturing, Service, Oil & Gas and Financial Service Sectors including Banking Sectors and have vast experience of Mutual Funds / Open End Funds and Assets Management Companies including Brokerage / Security Delaers Firms/Companies. I also provide technical accounting advise for complex transactions to Engagement Clients including implementation of new and / or revised IFRS / IAS and IFRIC. I also provide technical accounting advise to Audit Engagement Teams, Managers and Engagement Partners. I also present impact assessment of new / revised standards to the entity including hosting Education Session for Board's Audit Committee of Assurance Engagement Clients. I also provide advise on Corporate Laws and Taxation to Engagement Clients and Engagement Teams. All through my career, I have demonstrated a passion for professional excellence. I was retained as Assistant Manager on completion of my practical experience period in 2009 and have been assigned Firm's prestige Assurance and Non Assurance Engagement Clients to provide Assurance, Non Assurance and Other Related Services. I have a proven record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. I believe in the value of working closely with clients and making constant recommendations for improvement. I articulate clearly and constructively. My Assurance Engagement Clients benefit from my hands-on, ‘no surprises’ approach to auditing in which my high level of organization ensures the auditing process is smooth and efficient. My responsibilities include:· Manage client relationships / expectations and develop client portfolio including writing proposals for prospective clients.· Develop relations with existing clients in order to gather feedback on the quality of work delivered and to gain ideas for improvement of services delivered.· Effectively manage audit teams and actively coach and develop team members.· Responsible for planning and managing assignments allotted for compliance with all technical requirements including drafting management letters and ensure observations are constructive and have commercial as well as business and operational sense.· Technical Review of Client Deliverables including financial statements and relevant disclosures in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

I joined the Firm in April 2005 to complete my pre-qualification practical experience period of three and half year which is pre-requisite to obtain Membership and appear in Professional Exam of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan. As an Audit Trainee I was part of Audit Engagement Team to carry out Statutory Audit, Group Audit and Review Engagements of Listed as well as Non Listed Engagement Clients of the Firm. I also gained an experience of compliance audit of Open End Mutual Funds / Investment Funds / Unit Trust Funds. Prequalification practical experience has enabled me to develop the appropriate professional competence and support me to develop at progressive levels of responsibility (moving from Junior to Semi Senior to Senior and Audit In-charge) while under appropriate levels of supervision. Practical experience has provided a blend of depth and breadth, knowledge and application and, where appropriate, integration of material from different areas applied to a range of situations and contexts. During my training period I was constantly rated as exceptional performer by Performance Manager and have been advanced to a position of Audit In-charge within one and half year of my joining the Firm. Owing to excellence in my service delivery and constant rating of exceptional performer by Performance Manager as well as Engagement Client I was retained as Assistant Manager with the Firm on completion of my practical experience period without attaining professional qualification. I developed a rich skill set including core competency in area of financial reporting based on IFRS during my practical experience period.I have also been involved in a number of specialist assignments ranging from agreed upon procedures, compliance audit, operational audit and internal control review during my training period.
