Current• Procurement of various materials for PVC and EDC/VCM Plant from national and international market e.g Chillers from York USA (Johnson Controls UAE) and PTFE Piping material from Difflon Italy, Double jacketed gaskets from UK, Pumps from Sundyne and Flowserve USA as well as LV Power Cables and Panels etc. from local manufacturers.• Provide 100% support for the Plant Shut Down successfully with no delay in supplies & services.• Ensured smooth supplies of Liquid Nitrogen for EDC/VCM & CA Plant.• Procurement through ARIBA Auction by creating and issuing RFI, RFQ and PO.• Inviting and allotting tendor, developing local vendors and reducing the cost of procurement of material.• Development of alternative local sources for imported raw material which helps in cost saving.• Development of new vendors, evaluate and negotiate the prices, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.• Issued POs for Bulk Order through local vendors containing 530 items in the categories of, Pipe Fittings, Gaskets, Hose Pipe, Wooden pallets, V Belts, Bearings, and Misc Electrical Consumables etc.• 100 % compliance with safety rules & regulations.• Develop & implement Vendor Site Evaluation calendar for entire purchase.• Visited Vendor Site & evaluate their capability.• Develop & Implement vendor enlistment form.• Liaison with Audit and Finance department for timely payment of bills and handling vendor’s inquiries/complaints etc.
