Responsible for technical and commercial support of Timken products in Middle East and Pakistan

Responsibilities:• Prepare parts list and perform inspection prior to delivery to customer• Understand customer requirements to resolve their problems• Prepare job quotations with relevant codes and details• Prepare list of spares, tools and other material required for the maintenance jobs• Supervise, coordinate and execute the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting and maintenance activities of various Caterpillar gas and diesel marine and industrial engines;• Diesel engines series: 3300, 3400, 3500, C series • Gas engines 3500B and 3500C series• Olympian Gen sets (Perkins Engines)• Schedule and execute overhaul & maintenance activities• Coordinate with workshop on parts overhaul status and schedule jobs accordingly• Comply with Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness among staff• Inspect and confirm that the specifications are in line with the requirement of the received stock materials• Update the equipment data, history and maintenance records• Prepare service and inspection reports for clients and submission to management• Train and develop the assigned staff• Perform inspection and measurements of engine components and analyze wear/damage and suggest repair, replace or overhauling of engine• Implement Product Improvement Program (PIP) and service bulletins and recommendations• Share technical service letters and information on new modifications and product updates

Responsibilities:Technical Service Department: Warranty Claims Coordination• Handle warranty claims of Wärtsilä gensets• Monitor and follow up customer inquiries with Wärtsilä Finland and provide solutions to the customer• Review customer claims for parts and verify status with Operation & Maintenance staff• Prepare and submit SAP notifications to Sales, Service and Finance departments• Create invoices in SAP for jobs performed and follow payments status with Finance• Present weekly update on claims and complains’ to Service Manager• Coordinate for training courses for Wärtsilä customers in Pakistan• Record, update and distribute all Technical Bulletins on product up-gradation and improvement received from Wärtsilä Finland to respective customersField Service Department:Perform routine maintenances and troubleshooting of following Wärtsilä engines:W32, 32DF, 34SG, 50DF engines, including following activities:• Flexible coupling alignment, vibration measurement, crankshaft deflection, cylinder tightness test, peak pressure, over haul of pistons, connecting rods, cylinder head, valve grinding, nozzle lapping and pressure testing, main bearings removal and installation, liner overhaul, honing and calibration, fuel injection pumps timing and overhaul, tappet block adjustment, lube oil pump, water pumps, gas regulating unit testing, calibration and adjustment, trouble shooting, engine parameters tuning, emissions adjustment. • Arrange spare parts and team members for maintenance• Inspecting spare parts at customer sites to ensure compatibility of parts with schedule maintenance.

Responsibilities:Field Service Department• Perform maintenance and overhauling of diesel and Gas Engines• Using Emission Analyzer for Emissions measurements and perform engine tuning to reduce NOx levels according to ISO/contract standards• Study SOS reports for any abnormality• Inspection of parts delivered to customer prior to installation• Perform Product Improvement Programs on different Caterpillar products• Different tools used: Valve recession tool, CAT ET, Emission Analyzer, Pressure Group, base gauge, Blow by tool, Digital Diagnostic Tool (DDT), Service Information System (SIS)Rental Service DepartmentMaintenance Engineer• Arrange and perform schedule maintenance along with team• Analyze maintenance data of the power houses to forecast the major repairs • Monitor equipment performance and arrange spares for repair and maintenance according to schedule• Prepare monthly generation reports• Keep track of all maintenance activities and take preventive actions• Review service work in progress and assist in the invoicing process• Have a complete liaison with customer regarding spares arrangement and replacement• Detailed Inspection of the rental equipment and its accessories prior to next deployment
