- Strengthen the estimation team capabilities.- Ensure an adequate team is put in place.- Increase knowledge sharing within estimation team.- Motivate and inspire team members.- Increase the efficiency, Modification of the systems and operational issues within the estimation team.- Familiarize the team with the customer needs, specifications, design targets, the development process, design standards, techniques and tools to support task performance.- Involved in the recruitment of the right individuals to fill certain gaps in the organisation.- Ensure all bids, proposals and revisions are submitted on time.- Lead, guide & teach other in order so they can grown and develop in the organisation.- Carry out site surveys and comprehensive bids.- Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward closure.- Maintain healthy group dynamics.- Coordinate with internal and external customers as necessary.- Work with functional managers and the team sponsor to obtain necessary resources to support the team's requirements.- Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule.- Keep the project manager and product committee informed of task accomplishment, issues and status.- Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams.
