I’m a marketing associate with 2 years of experience in both web and traditional advertising, promotions, events, campaigns and launch events. I have worked on integrated campaigns for leading brands such as Red Bull Pakistan and has also served as Global Marketing Intern for the leading mobile operator in Azerbaijan, Azercell. Until recently, I worked as a marketing associate for Troika Events & PR, an event and pr management company in Lahore. In this role I was focused on B2B marketing, although I have done extensive B2C work in the past. Successes included creating a social media and online advertising campaign that generated enormous media buzz and was key to the successful launch of brands such as Edenrobe, Kale, Equater and Circle Club Faisalabad. Most question about the link between marketing and Law. For me, marketing is just more than a degree, it’s a skill which can be learned by anyone irrespective of their major. And yes, there are certain jobs that require the skills affiliated with specified degrees, such as engineering, architecture, and computer science. But by and large, your college major is unlikely to have any bearing on your career success.
