1) Conduct development research and generate analysis report for all project.2) Prepare conceptual design drawing.3) Generate BOM for full assembly products.4) Generate CAD design for full part products include plastic part, LSR, rubber, ultrasonic bonding, overmould, 2K injection, metal stamping, forging, aluminium extrusion and etc.5) Prepare dimension drawing, painted, tampo & subassembly custom BOP parts.6) Material selection for parts.7) Carry out tolerance stack calculation for product.8) Troubleshoot issue which listed in the FRACAS, Design Hitlist.9)DFM session with tooling design and generate DFM reports.10) Reverse engineering.11) Liase with external supplier to deal with BOP.12) Liase with E&E section for PCBA design.13) Liase with Sourcing section to give inquiry for BOP for standard parts and custom part.14) Build up prototype samples for research, design and development stage.15) Build up display sample for marketing purpose.16) Support in making jigs and fixture design for testing, mockups, using 3D printing.17) Support NPI/ NPD projects for customers and internals on preparation drawings, 3D modelling, modify customers drawings, propose adjustment, sample builds and simulation test as well.

Research, plan, implement new R&D program and oversee thedevelopment of new products.Design product based on company mission or customer needs, responsiblefor mechanical design with CAD. Do simulation on manufacturabilityespecially on injection molding parts.Make DFM report during and afterdesigning process.Coordinate all project elements including engineering design, quality planning,manufacturing, installation, commissioning and final buy-off phases.Oversee & conduct testing, field failure analysis (FMEA), root cause analysisand solution evaluation on the existing design or prototype for improvementmanufacturability, ease of assembly and cost wise, (Kaizen/Continuousimprovement). Fabricate prototype using 3D printing (FDM, SLS) , machining,milling, CNC.Coordinate product testing/certification & independent listing agencies suchUL, PSB, BOMBA & SIRIM.Liaise with suppliers/vendors from local and overseas on toolings,components, & parts, present, report and communicate to highermanagement.Handle engineering project and others assigned task from senior executivesand report to HOD.Manage 2D drawings, BOMs, part number update to server and in charge onECN to product models.
