I worked as In-Charge HSE EPC Power transmission and Substation Projects. My expertise includes HSE management system, Engineering HSE, Field and Commissioning HSE. My areas of interest include development of HSE strategies & KPI. Asset life cycle HSE management starting from projects HSE management, occupational safety, Emergency & disaster preparedness, contractors’ safety management, systems audits /gap analysis along with incident investigation and trainings as per international standards, corporate code of practices & regulatory / statuary requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES - ENVIRONMENT HEALTH SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM• Communicate, promote and manage the company’s vision with respect to HSE standards, behaviors and performance.• Define and set targets and budgets and monitor actual performance.• Liaison with senior management in the development and review of relevant HSE strategies to manage areas of non-compliance.• Develop and implement site specific HSE Business Plan.• Conduct and support training delivery by ensuring participation of workers so they obtain the appropriate skills and experience to safely and competently perform their roles.• Review HSE daily, weekly and monthly reports.• Contribute to the development of company HSE procedures as required.• Comply with the company’s policies and procedures and ensure complianceRESPONSIBILITIES - COMMISSIONING AND FIELD HSE• Preparation of Project specific HSE Plan, Environment Management Plan, Transportation Plan, Emergency Response Plan• Preparation of Field, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning HSE Plan• Preparation of Method Statements, Emergency Response Procedures and Safety procedures• Conduct/Coordinate Safety Committee Meetings, Weekly Safety Meeting with Crew, Safety Team Meetings, and Safety Meetings• Implementation of the permit to work system while lot of subcontractors are simultaneously working on semi live plant during commissioning & field activities• Establish and implement the Logout’ Tag out system at workplace• Perform safety audits and inspections• Conduct to Program to Promote Behavior Base Safety programs.• Conduct Safety and Fire Fighting Trainings• Participation in the Fire Drills, Emergency Rescue Drill, Emergency Evacuation Drill and other Drills.• Perform accident/Incident investigation, review and reporting.
