I am Muhammad Haris, a hard-working, ambitious, and dedicated graduate in agriculture with a passion for working in a competitive environment. I am committed to utilizing my knowledge and skills to preserve the quality of life and contribute to the development of agriculture. Currently working as a Lab Assistant at the Cereal Molecular Biology Laboratory, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, I am deeply involved in diverse projects like Hybrid Wheat Project, which includes wheat hybrid development, data collection of hybrid wheat trials, rust scoring, and multilocation trials.My journey began with internships at Qazi Agri Farm, Agriculture Biotechnology Research Institute (ABRI) at Ayub Agriculture Research Institute (AARI), and Ajj Seed Corporation, where I gained valuable experience in cutting-edge technologies like Green House Tunnel Farming, DNA extraction, molecular techniques, and seed production.Education has been my foundation, and I am currently pursuing an M.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. My B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture, Plant Breeding and Genetics has equipped me with specialized skills in improving plant characteristics crucial for yield, quality, maturity, and resilience.Beyond my academic achievements, I possess strong language proficiency in English and Punjabi, along with expertise in various digital tools and software, including R Studio, STATISTIX 8.1, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as reference management software like Mendeley, Zotero, and EndNote.In addition to my technical expertise, I have showcased leadership skills as the Finance Secretary of PSPBG (Pakistan Society of Plant Breeder and Geneticists), managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with budgeting principles. Actively participating in professional networks, including PSPBG, Agrivarsity Scouts Group, and Yanfa-un-Naas Foundation, keeps me connected to the latest industry trends.My commitment to continuous learning is evident through participation in conferences, seminars, and online courses. Engaging in events like the International Wheat Conference and completing courses on Agribusiness Management and Introduction to Genomic Technologies have further enriched my knowledge.My ultimate goal is to make a meaningful impact in the field of agriculture, contributing to the betterment of humanity through sustainable development practices.
