  During my internship at POF,• Visited the drawing section, acquired knowledge about the basics of engineering drawings and different machining components.• Visited production shops visualize both conventional and latest machines.• Acquired knowledge about cold forging, gaining insights into the workings of gears, belts, pressing tools.• Witnessed and understood the machining processes and finishing techniques.• Learned about casting processes, hot forging, soldering and hardness testing methods.• Gained in-depth knowledge of precise and accurate work in tool room, including machines like jig grinding, jig boring, EDM wire cutting, and thread grinding machines and manufacturing of tools, cutters, jigs, fixtures and components used in production shops.• Acquired a comprehensive understanding of heat treatment processes such as hardening, quenching, tempering, soaking, and annealing in a heat treatment shop.
