• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of 60 DE Locomotives of 1500 HP to 3000 HP for mail express and freight trains on daily basis.• Achieved the target of 85% availability of DE Locomotives on daily basis.• Managed the contract of PR 20 Locomotives supplied by GE Transportation (Wabtec).

• Responsible for the overhauling of passenger coaches and freight wagons.• Achieved the target of overhauling the 75 Coaches and 350 wagons per month. • Assisted by the team of 4 Assistant Works Manager, 350 Supervisors and 2700 Staff. • Refurbished the Rakes of 30 Mail / Express trains with value addition of passenger amenities.(TWO OF THEM INAUGURATED BY PRIME MINISTER OF PAKISTAN) • Prepared the technical specification of the international tender for the procurement of 230 passenger coaches.• Upgraded the Lift Shop with the industrial flooring, lifting jacks and overhead cranes.• Added new Roller Bearings Shop with automatic plant & machinery into Carriage and Wagon Shop. • Improved cost structure by reducing overheads from 400% to 250%.• Added 200 stabled coaches into the system.

• Responsible for the Power analysis of fleet of 300 locomotives, Crew link and turnaround.• Procurement of Diesel oil for Pakistan Railways and ensured fuel oil economy.• Conducted the speed trial on addition of new Rolling Stock in Pakistan Railways.• Achieved the target of 85% availability of crew and locomotives for train operation and 30 days HSD oil reserve.• Managed the Contract of 10 Locomotives between Pakistan Railways and National Logistics cell (NLC).

• Responsible for the Periodic overhauling of Diesel Electric Locomotives, Cranes, Boilers, Plant and Machinery. • Achieved the target of overhauling of 7 locomotives, 5 Break down Cranes, 20 Boilers, 7 Overhead Cranes, 10 Plant and Machinery per month.• Participated in the process of procurement of 55 Locomotives of 4000 HP from GE Transportation.

• Managed the Operation and maintenance of Locomotives, Coaches and Wagons.• Achieved the Target of interchange of 32 Freight and 64 Passenger Trains per day.

• Managed the Contract of Maintenance of Track maintenance equipment: Track Machines, Cranes and Material Lorries maintenance agreement between Pakistan Railways and RAILCOP.

• Executed the project by using 6 sigma manufacturing technique.

• Designed 32 Heat Exchangers for Saudi Aram. Co.

• Erection and commission of Hydro entanglement plant (Textile unit).
