As a crew member at McDonald’s, you will be responsible for a broad range of different tasks. One of the most common areas new employees start off is the food production line.You will regularly prepare a variety of different sandwiches and be responsible for ensuring food safety procedures are followed.You may also be expected to operate cash registers and hand out food and drinks to customers as well. Here are the main duties and responsibilities of service crew in any McDonald’s location. • Greet customers as they enter and thank them for their business as they leave;• Ensure food safety standards are being followed;• Prepare food according to the burger chain’s specifications;• Clean and maintain designated area during downtime;• Take customer orders correctly and efficiently;• Resolve customer complaints as necessary by redoing their order.• To be a successful crew member at McDonald’s, you should be comfortable working in a wide range of challenging work environments.• If you’re working in a cash register position, you will be in a stationary spot and will need to be able to keep track of multiple groups of people.• A small degree of computer knowledge is necessary to operate the store’s POS system. For all positions, you will frequently be picking up objects that are close to the ground and making a series of repetitive movements.
