DAI, founded in 1970, operates in 150 countries, offering development solutions for a more prosperous, fair, well-governed, safer, healthier, and sustainable world. The $41.9 million USAID-funded CRA project was in Sindh and Southern Punjab, Pakistan, implemented by DAI. I was responsible for procurements and Logistical activities of Southern Punjab. My responsibilities include procurements management, events managements, IP’s budgets review, contracts managements, GST exemption from EAD and Compliance. I supervised three Procurements and Logistics Officers.

Pakistan

Founded in 1933, IRC operates in over 40 countries, providing healthcare, infrastructure, water sanitation, education, economic support, and emergency aid. IRC responds within 72 hours during emergencies, delivering supplies and expertise to aid people in crisis and rebuild communities.The USAID funded Pakistan Reading Project ($ 165 million) was five years’ initiative for supporting Pakistan’s provincial and regional departments of education to improve reading skills of school children across Pakistan. I supervised a team of 7 staff members including 02 Supply Chain Managers, 01 Inventory Manager, 04 Snr. Supply Chain Officers. Managing procurements, warehousing, assets and fleet across Pakistan were my responsibilities.

Karachi

DAI, founded in 1970, operates in 150 countries, offering development solutions for a more prosperous, fair, well-governed, safer, healthier, and sustainable world. The $20 million USAID-funded PERSI project was in Sindh and Southern Punjab of Pakistan, implemented by DAI. I managed procurements, fleet, assets and warehouse. I supervised a team of 04 procurement and Logistics Officers.

Islamabad

Creative Associates International Inc. (CAII), founded in 1977, operates in 28 countries. From late 2007 to 2015, CAII implemented the USAID-funded FATA Transition Initiative (FTI) and Pakistan Transition Initiative (PTI) projects in various regions (FATA, KPK, PATA, Karachi and Southern Punjab) of Pakistan, focusing on infrastructure, capacity building, training, livelihood, CVE awareness, and community engagement. I established offices in multiple locations and developed suppliers’ data lists through market surveys in the project areas. I managed the project valued at US$147 million, overseeing procurement for 1416 In-kind and 137 FOG grants. Supervised a team of 14 procurement staff, including a contracting officer and a warehouse officer, in both main and field offices.

Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian and nonprofit humanitarian organization. Its mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide.I managed procurements, government liaison, fleet, asset management, and establishment of offices and warehouses for multiple projects, including health, water and sanitation, emergency response, and rehabilitation/reconstruction. Projects funded by various international donors such as BPRM, SV, OFDA, USDA, DFID, UNICEF, and the Bill & Melinda Gate Foundation.

Kurrum Agency, Pakistan

Pak-CDP is a non-government organization dedicated to improving primary health in rural and urban communities of NWFP, Pakistan. They focus on water supply, sanitation, and health/hygiene education. The organization motivates communities to improve sanitation, adopt clean drinking water practices, and enhance health behaviors through education and community-based organizations (CBOs). Pak-CDP also provides sanitation and drinking water facilities to project areas and Afghan refugee camps.I Led a team responsible for procurement, administration, government liaison, fleet management, office and staff security, finance, and HR. Assisted Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in non-food item (NFI) distribution. Supervised six staff members during my tenure at Pak-CDP.
