Worked as a Assistant Manager Quality Assurance and Development, Advanced Testing Laboratory with Project and Services from 13- Feb- 2006 to Sep- 2008Job Responsibilities- Made the Specifications for Chemical Composition, Rolling, Forging and Heat Treatment as per ASTM, AISI, JIS, EN, DIN, Bohler or Client Standards.- Participate in Development of different Steel Grades, Heat treatment cycles, Rolling Cycles, Forging Cycles.- Result evaluation of chemical analysis of different steel grades through OES, XRF, Rapid Analysis of Carbon, Sulfur, Oxygen, Nitrogen & Hydrogen.- Result evaluation of different mechanical tests (Hardness, Tensile testing, Impact Testing).- Failure analysis of Rolled, forged, ESR cast products and CCM products of carbon steel(low, medium and high carbon)l, HSLA, tool steels, stainless steels(304,316,316L,X-17), leaf spring steels, ASTM A 650 Grade 60- Failure Analysis, life assessment, condition assessment, Metallographic Examination (Microscopy), Mechanical Testing & Non Destructive Testing. - Root Cause Analysis – RCA for Processing & In service Defects.- On line Physical Inspection & Macro Examination of Continuous cast billets & blooms, rolled, forged and heat treated products for result evaluation.- On-Site Metallographic Examination (Replica Metallography).- Positive Material Identification – PMI- Develop Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures as per ISO 9001 & ISO 17025.
