An Automotive Engineering MSc and Mechanical Engineering BEng graduate with academic exposure to mechanical and automotive engineering, software packages, testing, design, and manufacturing. A collaborative, reliable team member who maintains open communication, experienced in leadership, project management, and fast-paced environments from time in education to the working world. Hardworking, meticulous, and determined to learn for continuous improvement and progression. Self-motivated, organised, with time management skills by prioritising and dissecting tasks, then allocating individual timelines.During my studies designed countless components and assemblies in SolidWorks, produced engineering drawings and ran CAE (FEA and CFD). For example, I developed a bespoke driveshaft and spur gear assembly for a specific battery and motor configuration, creating the parts in CAD and conducting FEA for topology optimisation and testing. I also created a turbine aerofoil in ANSYS and used CFD to analyse its flow physics.In my undergraduate course, I learned about manufacturing, the many philosophies like Kaizen and lean manufacturing, plus the processes and methods like Casting, Additive, and Job-Shop. I also had the opportunity to gain practical experience in machining (turning, milling) and welding.I am eager to develop my knowledge and acquire new skills. This mentality pushed me to repair rather than replace, leading to hobbies of DIY renovations, vehicle maintenance, and electronic device repairs.
