I am working as an asst.manager in power plant in DG Khan Cement Company...My area of responsibilities includes both the Operation & Maintenance of Electro- Mechanical parts..DG Khan Cement Company Ltd. Pakistan (O & M Engineer) [May.2011 up to Date] Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant WHRPP (2 0MW Steam Turbine) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: To provide “O & M” (Operation & Maintenance) services to the Plant. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Take over charge of the plant from the counterpart of outgoing shift. Supervise the plant during shift hours for safe, efficient and smooth operation. Monitor recorded parameters. Identify abnormal parameters and propose the remedial action. Implementation and Compliance to ERP & ISO Systems dictated by Management. Participate in fault investigation and propose remedial measures. Assist to Sr.Manager in implementation of DGKCCL safety rules. Prepare shift report and other sheets as per shift routine. Hand over charge of the plant to the counterpart of incoming shift. Assist to Sr.Manager WHRPP in identifying training needs of the shift staff. Assist to Sr.Manager WHRPP in enhancing plant knowledge. An active member of Internal Auditors team for Audit purpose.SKILLS (OPERATION): Handling the shift efficiently. Adjusting the actions in relation to other actions. Controlling the smooth operation of power plant. Understanding of power plant process. Fault tracing during the trouble shooting. A good knowledge of the principles associated with Power Plant operation. A good standard of Power Plant safety awareness. Familiar with computer and keyboard skills. Understanding of the oracle software.SKILLS (MAINTENANCE): Requisition for maintenance supplies, special tools. Direct and lead personnel. Compile equipment failure reports. Liaison with company supervisors for any key developments and changes. Compile formal technical report & Communicate with Sr.Manager.
