• Assist Senior FI Coverage Bankers in business development including maintaining existing FI relationships while fostering new ones to enhance the Bank’s profitability across geographies including MENA, Turkey and South Asia (including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh), Saharan Africa, Europe and Americas.• Focus on FI asset growth via syndications, trade loans and trade finance.• Wallet sizing the clients to ensure effective utilization of existing bank and country limits and seek opportunities in new markets. • Liaise with counterparts in Treasury, Compliance, Credit, Finance and Operations on areas pertaining to FI Department. • Adhere and comply with bank’s internal applicable policies and procedures as well as basic knowledge of regulatory framework in markets where HBZ undertakes cross border exposure. • Assist Senior FI Coverage Bankers in managing and maintaining of Nostros / Vostros relationships including review and negotiation of tariffs (charges and rebates) based on flows and services.Trade Sales - working closely with the Corporate and Commercial Banking teams respectively alongside Head of FI and Senior FI Coverage bankers to enhance / boost the bank’s trade business in core HBZ markets and create customer awareness on the bank’s credit appetite in new markets.FI Client Service - act as the central point of escalation across all operations on cash and trade related queries.• Providing strategic insights to Head - FI for improvements across service delivery channels, products and operations.
