Job Description Contribute in developing the annual purchasing plan for the Company and execute actions through detailed planning and effective & efficient sourcing and delivery. Support all functions of the company in sourcing indirect materials & services. Induct new sourcing avenues delivering cost savings while maintaining / improving stated standards of delivery and quality. Prepare and Revise SOPs related to Purchasing and ensure compliance of stated procedures. Identify opportunities to develop Blanket order / Price Agreements / Contracts with Vendors. Foster and collaborate a close working relationship / interfaces within team and across business functions to achieve common goals. Coordinate with the Information System (IS) Team to introduce comprehensive reports in Oracle related to Purchase. Prepare monthly reports for KPIs and Projects which are presented in periodic Management Committee Meetings. Conduct weekly visits to the market and audit for Pack mat and Raw Material Suppliers.Achievements Achieved the service level of 92% against the KPI of 87%. Delivered annual savings of Rs. 30 million through effective negotiations and introducing cheaper sources for supply of materials. Defined new stocking and re-order levels for spare parts inventory items minimizing carrying inventory and repetitive ordering. Introduced Tetra Weekly order system to Stream-line the Tetra Pak Ordering & minimized the Tetra Pak Priority orders from 30% to 15%. Negotiated with some suppliers to work on credit instead of advance against delivery.
