• Studied the process flow diagram of various areas in the cement manufacturing industry.• Studied and implemented engineering drawings appropriately. Implemented the knowledge of geometry to help technicians fabricate non-standard parts such as round square.• Performed erection at raw proportioning area, coal mill area and packing area through the help of Chinese Contractor Sinoma and various other subcontractors. Resolved conflicts with contractors to meet the deadlines of the project.• Studied manuals of various kinds of machinery provided by the original equipment manufacturer for their safe operation. Implemented the knowledge gained through manuals to decide the right lubricant or grease for any particular machinery for their prolonged life.• Able to perform alignment of two shafts which are to be coupled using a fixed coupling through the use of micrometer dial gauge. Gained understanding on how to use vibro-meter to detect vibrations in all three axes and ensured that these are within the specified limits as mentioned in the manufacturer’s manual.• Recorded tasks carried out by technicians on daily basis to identify necessary modifications that improved performance of the plant and reduced the maintenance frequency.• Ensured all technicians abided by the safety rules such as wearing appropriate PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment) for the intended task.• Maintained a stock of spare parts for packing plant in an Excel Sheet to allow the technicians to start maintenance activities immediately.• Maintained the supply of consumables such as grinding disc, electrode and gas cylinders which eliminated delay in daily maintenance activities.
