Aviary developed a cloud-based Customer and Resource Management platform designed to particular focus on client-directed care by disability, community aged care and health service providers. I joined to lead and manage the implementation team. The goal is to grow the maturity of the team and ensure successful delivery of customer outcomes is achieved as the size and clients Aviary is growing. Also tasked with ensuring the scoping and analysis of requirement are timely and accurate. Responsible for day project management actives including risk & issue management, change request management, project reporting, stakeholder reporting and team utilisation. Assigned to uplift and improve the internal processes increase quality and profitability.

Previously known as Otakaro; Joined to advise and establish reporting framework and standards as part of the revised mandate by the government to establish Rau Paenga as the crown infrastructure Project Management Office across New Zealand. The goal is to ensure the maturity of project management practice is incorporated across wider government agencies thus providing a more consistent, accurate and timely information on projects and programmes.

Joined to rescue; by leading a multi-year ERP implementation programme to replace ageing applications for New Zealand’s largest meat processing company. With over 4,000 end-users, the programme is designed to consolidate by introducing a unified ecosystem of application and processes across seven (7) sites. Reported directly to executive management.

Led a multi-year Service Experience implementation programme and was responsible for the timely delivery of programme thus, was directly accountable for planning, scope & budget management, procurement of vendors and resourcing. Reported directly to senior management and successfully introduced Agile methodology to the team.Major Achievement: Successfully managed the selection of the right implementation partner and service experience tool – Service Now. Also set up the first Agile team for UC Digital Services. Effectively making it easier for the programme board to track and access project delivery progress.

Initially joined for 6 weeks to integrate ANZCO’s internal ERP system with supplier interface. Role expanded to include the implementation of ANZCO’s Timesheet system used across the twelve (12) sites in New Zealand, servicing over 3,500 staff members weekly.Major Achievement: Effectively developed a good working relationship with unionised site staff members by understanding the key pain points and bring them along the journey behind the changes taking place thereby reducing the ‘fear of change’ on the project.

Worked with a number of a large scale clients and projects. Roles varied from reporting to liaising and designing of solutions for the development and implementation of a large-scale service management system for the largest South Island employer. Some other projects consisted of ongoing review and development of programme reporting in relation to Christchurch Rebuild involving 9 individual large-scale projects.

A ‘multiple-hat’ role with the directive to lead the transition of manual and paper based processes used by the maintenance team across 40 retirement villages. The work required reviewing of existing processes across maintenance, construction, procurement and finance along with development of ideal state. Also tasked with vendor analysis that would be suited to implement digitised forms with workflows to manage approvals, provide visibility of $10m capex expenditure and enhance efficiency across the organisation.

Started with a 10 weeks contract. The task was to create and manage a structured approach to the funding application process. This was in relation to ecological projects designed to provide employment for job seekers impacted by Covid-19. Also got asked to step in and coordinate a critical and overlapping ERP module development and deployment.

Initially joined for 6 weeks to map out EQC’s processes. Responsibility increased to include project coordination/project management of EQC’s future state implementation.

- Project Coordinator for the development of Easy Giving application – a donation platform. Pinpointed an opportunity to add value, presented and convinced Executive Management & Shareholder to invest in Easy Giving Platform. - Created feasibility analysis and developed workflows and processes to ensure successfully commercialisation of the Easy Giving. - Managed and coordinated the interdepartmental tasks while also providing internal stakeholders with systems and process training.

- Mapped and created user stories and use cases for mobile applications, websites and CRM system by facilitating workshops to investigate and capture user requirements. - Developed and provided training on new features, applications and system. - Scrum Master across multiple development teams while been responsible for coordinating platform developments of three mobile applications and two .NET websites which integrates with a CRM system. - Facilitated scrum ceremonies, coordinated backlog review and prioritisation with stakeholder and enacted on sprint retrospective action points for continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the teams and the quality of deliverables. - Drove the adoption of Agile Scrum methodology which led to better transparency of the work carried out by the development team and increased the quality of deliverables. - Mapped and documented business processes to improve customer journeys which led to the scoping and implementation of a support ticketing system which ensured that bugs and feature request were clearly communicated and managed.

- Provided robust business cases, feasibility and profitability assessment of innovative IT and engineering projects for NZi3 corporate and government partners including Tait Communications and Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment (MBIE). - Liaised between managers, developers and academic engineers to develop business cases with detailed deliverables. - Contributed to ongoing projects assessments to ensure continuous profitability using financial spreadsheets to create and evaluate project based - Provided financial analyses to support project tenders submitted (MBIE). - Created and communicated project reports to senior management to ensure milestones are achieved, while minimizing risk and cost overruns.

- Captured user stories, conducted market validation, and investigated competitor’s offering to design a robust strategy for an ITC system targeted for the rural market of New Zealand. - Successfully provided Farmside with an innovative product roll out business case and strategy to boost and diversify their product portfolio. - Created a detailed project plan to increase their portfolio revenue stream to defend the firms position as the no. 1 rural technology provider in New Zealand.
