I've spent over three decades dedicated to igniting curiosity and intellect in the field of mathematics and currently serve as the Head of the Mathematics Department at SBDAV Public School, Vasant Vihar. My journey in this field began at the prestigious IIT Delhi, where I graduated in 1990 with an MSc in Mathematics. This experience laid the foundation for what has become a lifelong commitment to education and learning. In addition to my leadership role as the Head of Department, I also work as the Senior Supervisory Head, guiding my team with a vision that combines administrative excellence with academic insight. I firmly believe that learning is an infinite journey, a principle that has not only shaped my approach to education but has also made me an advocate for continual growth, for both my students and myself. Despite having 34 years of rich teaching experience under my belt, I still consider myself a perpetual student, which reflects my mindset of valuing constant learning and adaptation. My professional narrative is characterized by steadfast dedication, innovative teaching strategies, and a commitment to maintaining educational excellence. My career, following my graduation from IIT Delhi, has been a testament to the transformative power of education, a belief that motivates my initiatives and efforts within and beyond the classroom. Under my leadership, the department has not only achieved remarkable academic success but has also fostered a culture where critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for mathematics thrive. At my core, I am not just an educator by profession but a mentor at heart, continually inspiring students to delve into the beautiful complexity of mathematics while advocating for the ethos of lifelong learning.
