Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM):    To reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self employment and skilled wage employment opportunities,resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis,through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor.The mission would aim at providing shelters equipped with essential services to the urban homeless in a phased manner.In addition,the mission would also address livelihood concerns of the urban street vendors by facilitating access to suitable spaces,institutional credit,social security and skills to the urban street vendors for accessing emerging market opportunities

Street Vendor Training under SUSV component of DAY-NULM :- Directorate of Municipal Administration, UD&HD, Govt. of Jharkhand is going to roll out 2 days Specialized training programme of identified Street Vendors, across 50 Urban Local Bodies (ULB) under SUSV components of DAY-NULM in collaboration with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)*Mukhyamantri SHRAMIK Yojana :- The main objective of Mukhyamantri SHRAMIK Yojana is to enhance livelihood security in Jharkhand State by providing a guaranteed 100 days wage employment in a financial year.Due to Covid 19, a large number of workers of Jharkhand have returned to the state from other states of the country. In this situation, they are facing self and family earning, maintenance and other financial difficulties.Another mission is to create durable assets (such as roads, canals, ponds, wells, buildings, parks and planting). Employment is to be provided to them and minimum wages are to be paid. If work is not provided as per prescribed categories of this scheme, applicants are entitled to an unemployment allowance. Thus, employment under Mukhyamantri SHRAMIK is a legal entitlement.Strengthening decentralised, participatory planning through convergence of various anti-poverty and livelihoods initiatives. Objective of the Project: To provide technical guidance and support for transforming colleges into knowledge hubs for imparting skill development training to enhance employability of youthof Jharkhand Outcomes of the Project (1) Better employability skills of youth (2) Standardization of training curriculum, duration of trainings and assessment of trainingprogram as per industry standards (3) Embed skills curriculum in university education (4) Development of monitoring and evaluation systems for effective implementation IV. The Union Cabinet had approved India’s largest Skill Certification Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), on 20 March, 2015. The Scheme was subsequently launched on 15 July, 2015, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day by Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. PMKVY is implemented by National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC) under the guidance of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). With a vision of a “Skilled India”, MSDE aims to skill India on a large scale with speed and high standards.
