As a Software and Electrical Engineering graduate from McMaster University, I am currently looking for new ways to deepen my understanding of software development practices, data structures and algorithms, and modern day development tools. I love seeing something I've worked on reach the end user and have it make an impact on them or their lives.I have recently completed an internship at AMD as a Software Engineer in Graphics Driver Automation, where I was given the responsibility to create automated solutions; ensuring that new driver builds are tested for defects and are stable before being sent to Microsoft. I have also interned at FYELABs and McMaster University as a full-stack and software developer, where I was given the responsibility to independently and collaboratively work on engineering projects assigned to me.I have developed skills such as:- Programming in Python, C/C++, C#, MATLAB, Java, PowerShell and Linux Shell- Effectively using Docker, Go and git, among other web-development techniques- Developed web applications using a variety of techniques, primarily focused on back-end development- Created IoT solutions using Arduinos, sensors, Raspberry Pis and several APIs- Experienced with analog and digital circuits and electronics- Fast learner with the ability to thrive under pressure- Independently and collaboratively completed tasks and managed time effectivelyI'm currently working full-time at Dayforce as a Software Engineer to further develop these skills, and add more experience to my repertoire.
