Hello! I am a Business Strategist & Consultant. My love for business comes from the community I grew up in. I am a middle class Bengali who grew up in Gujarat along with kids of family owned businesses. I have had a very interesting journey in my pursuit of understanding how people make money.Typical of every middle-class Indian family; I pursued Automobile Engineering. During my college, I got involved in college festivals and I started working on corporate sponsorship. Typically, college corporate sponsorship are done through personal connects but I did not have any. I started with cold calling and cold mailing the corporate whom I researched and managed to connect. I managed to get 6 figure sponsorship from 3 corporate. I think that was the beginning of my journey in the world of business where I learnt how difficult it is to do sales. I also interned with a ship construction and dredging company during my college learning about how big machines are manufactured, assembled and operated. In my final year, I started my first venture – a social media marketing agency. We wind up the venture 18 months later while being in profit due to personal reasonsI started my professional career with Mu Sigma, a pure play data analytics firm. I worked with F100 companies in the industries of airlines, banking, financial services, retail, tech, media and entertainment. I have solved multiple problems in the space of marketing, customer management & analytics, supply chain, logistics & reverse logistics and enabled businesses adopt data driven decision making for their business operations. I worked in Mu Sigma for 5 years (4y11m to be accurate) starting as a trainee decision scientist and rising to be an Apprentice Leader leading multiple teams and handling varied clients throughout the journeyI am currently working as a Business Consultant with ITC Infotech where I solve many complex and interesting problems across various industry verticals in the domain of Supply Chain.
