My role within the St. Helens Kumon centre consisted of a multitude of roles such as –- Marking work and relaying feedback to parents and staff – spotting where the child has went wrong and explaining this to them (English and Maths)- Supporting classroom management – distribution of work, guiding children on what to do when they are waiting.- Ensuring safety of children – being the first and last point of contract for children when they arrive at the centre.- Managing my own workload without a supervisor- Answering phone callsThe skills I have achieved in this role is time management, attention to detail, organisational skills, multitasking and good communication.

As a sales assistant I gained valuable experience by assisting customers for their wants and needs -- Working in a team to make sure the shop floor maintained a tidy appearance - Learning the uniform that was sold in the shop so that I was able to help parents efficiently- Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner - Was flexible to work any hours I could- Prioritising workload when the shop floor was busy The skills I have achieved from this role is customer service, cash handling, customer satisfaction, being able to work in a fast pace environment and attention to detail.
