He completed his Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton (United Kingdom) and the Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy at the Curtin University of Technology (Australia).He is an international MSK Physiotherapy lecturer since 2008. Most of his teaching activity is related to the Mulligan Concept, being part of the international Mulligan Concept Teachers Association. He has presented over 330 courses in 12 different countries around the world: Albania, Angola, Belgium, Hungary, France, Montenegro, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Malta and Switzerland. He has been an university lecturer since 2001. He has been a lecturer at different Universities both in Portugal and Spain: Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Sousa, Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Ave, Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal, Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto, Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão, Universidad Europea de Madrid y Fundación San Pablo Andalucia CEU.Francisco is the Director and CEO of FisioNeto, a MSK physiotherapy clinic in Portugal. He is also the Director and CEO of Formaterapia, a continuous professional development center based in Portugal. He is a former vice-president of the Manual Therapy Interest Group of the Portuguese Association of Physiotherapists. At the present, he is a member of the General Council of the portuguese Physiotherapy regulating professional body (Ordem dos Fisioterapeutas). He has a number of publications in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals and is a reviewer Clinical Rehabilitation, Journal of Manual & Manipulative Therapy and European Journal of Oral Sciences.
