Wellington & Wairarapa, New Zealand

UK / Algeria / Tripoli

• Country entry level new ventures evaluation and common risk type play analysis of all Algerian principal basins and development of country strategy paper.
• Attendance and technical evaluation of multiple Algeria datarooms, M&A opportunities and two licensing rounds that were held in country.

UK / Equatorial Guinea

• Co-leader of 2002 fieldtrip for local operators to review rift and early drift stratigraphy of the Rio Muni coastal outcrop, Equatorial Guineas.
• Project manager for ten month project integrating results of new VR, AFTA, source rock and oil seep evaluation with a seismic structural interpretation. Aim to identify principal source intervals and kitchens in.
• Six years working in close collaboration with staff of the Ministry of Mines & Energy as part of a team acting as their technical advisors. This included monitoring operators’ activities, preparation and presentation.
