As a part of my responsibilities, I provided leadership to entire strategy formulation, execution & monitoring with an objective of driving new process development, support new product development & resource optimization, cost improvement and quality enhancement. I was entrusted with the responsibility of implementing value creation process using value stream mapping of the entire manufacturing process. My role was pivotal in taking strategic decision pertaining to in sourcing as well as outsourcing, in turn achieving cost & quality advantages. As a part of my role, I had been assigned the critical task of managing Kaizen & TEI projects while steering engineering change as well as CAPA. The role entailed changing the manufacturing engineering department to support Process development, engineering change and support new product introductions. I also played a vital role in introducing IT enabled systems to manage staff performance, quality systems, Business strategy dash board, Engineering change management, CRM, MRP dash board and other areas. In a nutshell, I was responsible for driving several process improvement and operational excellence initiatives that contributed to top line as well as bottom line for the organization.
