I worked as part of a team of engineers on the development, analysis, and implementation of aerodynamic improvements on Red Bull Air Race pilot Yoshihide Muroya’s airplane. The project included inner and outer flow CFD analysis, engine cooling system design, 3D drawings (SolidWorks), stability project, analysis of flight acquisition data and performance improvement prediction. Before the start of the partnership with AERON, the pilot ranked ninth in fourteen competitors (2014), in 2017 after our support, he obtained the first place.
