I am currently a senior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. I am highly focused on researching multi-functional biomaterials, as well as the synthesis and processing of bioglass/ceramic nanocomposites. Additionally, I have a keen interest in exploring the effects of doping different elements in hydroxyapatite/bioglass. I have extensive experience in various scientific techniques and equipment, including bacterial culture, scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM, WSEM), spark plasma sintering, X-ray diffraction (Rietveld refinement), biotribometers, and more. In addition, I have been gaining proficiency in a range of software applications, including Origin, Xpert High Score, ImageJ, and Matlab. In addition, I am currently acquiring expertise in cell culture techniques to analyze biological samples using various methods such as MTT, fluorescence imaging, live-dead assays, and more. I am committed to making significant contributions to the field of materials engineering.
