Appointed to create, design, and maintain innovative content and competency-based certificate programs, I led 35 education designers, technology specialists, writing and math tutors, and a media team for a university providing +12,0000 students with an accessible, inclusive, and transformative education.Onboarding and mentoring upcoming leaders and offering professional development opportunities through the Center for Instructional Innovation, I allocated a multi-million-dollar budget for educational technology and innovation and an online writing and math center. Reimagining on-site education at the onset of the coronavirus outbreak, we shifted to a remote learning model within two weeks and provided staff with proper training and technology to perform instruction while impacting zero fiscal downturns or client losses. Despite a challenging landscape, we accomplished these impressive outcomes:►Increased engagement by transitioning to software for remote training, web conferencing, and desktop sharing and surveyed users to establish five test platforms and analyzed results to determine the efficacy of the tool adoption. ►Increased student satisfaction by facilitating enrollees in applying knowledge, removing learning obstacles, enhancing educational technology via interactive and immersive methods, and developing a peer review to improve instructional consistency and quality across 1,500 adjunct faculty. ►Elevated course design by deploying an internal module to teach SMEs how to develop online classes and sharpened the competitive advantage by incorporating five learning modality types in instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, synchronous, asynchronous, micro-learning, and blended training.Strategizing with third-party vendors, we determined the best course of action to modernize technology and onboard optimal learning management systems to meet university goals and objectives.
