Key Responsibilities include:• Supporting the drafting & authoring of SOP’s & associated forms in conjunction with the various departmental subject matter experts (SME)• Assisting with writing, review & revision of manufacturing documentation as necessary. (e.g. batch records, standard operating procedures, etc.• Supporting the processing of same through the change control & document control systems• Acting as a SME/SuperUser on the Controlled Document System to facilitate the processing & approval of SOP’s.• Being proactive & collaborative in troubleshooting & resolving issues with documentation, training & systems.• Providing support & guidance to colleagues on systems & ad-hoc queries.• Leading & supporting investigation & resolution of system investigations.• Ensuring that training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures & training new staff members as a qualified trainer.• Actively working to establish & demonstrate a safety oriented culture & to meet or exceed environmental & other regulatory requirements.

A 12 week placement position.Key responsibilities included:• Performing laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations as part of a project.• Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.• Preparing specimens and samples.• Constructing, maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, pipetting machines and pH meters.• Recording and analysing results to present to senior mentors.• Using computers and performing mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs.• Conducting searches on identified topics relevant to the project.• Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
