I am an enthusiastic Project Delivery Consultant who has worked in a variety of different industries during my career including Local Government, defence, the Health and Social Care sector, automotive and finance. During my career, I has had to overcome a diverse number of challenges from people and stakeholder management, introduction of new company wide systems, management of programme sized RAID logs and governance and development of new business services.I started my consulting career as a Test Consultant but moved to project delivery after I managed a small team of testers during my engagement with Aston Martin where I was asked to develop test strategies and plans. I started working projects internally to Capita ITPS where I simultaneously managed the introduction of a new Sales platform and Resource management tool, ensured that the company was ISO 9001:2008 compliant and set up internal governance structure. From this range of experiences I can change my approach to all tasks to achieve the best possible outcome. My friendly and approachable demeanour enables me to interact with all members of a project team from stakeholders to project members, makes me very easy to work with and, in general, a great team player. I am a big believer in knowledge sharing and if I am ever in the situation in which I need an answer to a question I will actively hunt the answer out.

After the training each new Novus Software Test Analyst is placed with one of Capita's clients to work on their projects. I was been brought into the programme as a Project Manager to support the Programme manager of the Work Stream 1 package of work, which was to complete all the de-scoped work from the Programmes' go live in April. Half way through the engagement, my responsibilities changed with the change in direction of the programme, in which I worked directly with the Programme Director to assist with the creation of a complete programme plan to be used during commercial discussions between Capita and Barnet Council. Significant Achievements:Initially I was tasked with creating and managing a Programme plan for one of the three workstreams that made up the Mosaic Implementation Programme alongside the workstream’s Programme Manager. Later with the change in programme direction my role changed and instead of reporting to the Programme Manager of Workstream 1, I reported directly to the Programme Director and assisted him with the creation of an overall Programme plan that included all three workstreams and mapped their dependencies, shared resources and created a detailed critical path. This plan was used during commercial discussion between Capita and the client. Before the change in Programme direction, I was also responsible for general project management admin of Workstream 1 including ensuring Workstream 1 RAID items are included and managed, that project work is managed through to completion and that all stakeholders and 3rd parties are managed. After the change I was no longer responsible for the Programme RAID but worked closely with the PMO to ensure that all risks, issues, assumption made during planning and dependencies uncovered in the overall programme plan were included in the RAID.

This could be interrogated to produce project progression stats and other MI. The council has many independent directories including SAP HR, global mailing directories and Blackberry enterprise systems. To create a definitive list of who in the council needed a replacement device these were needed to be cross referenced and then presented to Departmental stakeholders to clarify. The scheduling process needed constant interaction with council staff from all levels, and at times needed to be handled delicately in order to ensure teams that were of competing priority understood when they would be receiving their handsets. -
