Murtaza Ali Email and Phone Number
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Washington (advised by Dr. Sayamindu Dasgupta and Dr. Cecilia Aragon) broadly interested in how people learn, and how we can make it better. My dissertation research focuses on improving programming and data education for non-Computer Science majors. I have several years' experience designing and teaching undergraduate courses, as well as consulting for Edtech companies.I completed my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley, and on the personal side, I love writing, hiking, and playing basketball. I write down my thoughts worth sharing (and occasionally those that are not) on my Medium blog.Contact: murtaza5152.ali@gmail.com
