I was one of the ten finalists who got the chance to work with a mentor from the EY tax consultancy group and present his solution to a case study about a corporate tax law dilemma to the pioneering tax professionals committee which consists of top executives from highly reputable firms and academicians.

They treated me as one of the managers by calling me in to the meetings and letting me eat and blend in with the whole team. I was the only intern they took in the last decade and the departments being operated by few numbers of people helped me perform multiple tasks at once. It gave me a space to show my analytic skills and widen both my and their perspectives.

Seeing how sales work at an institutional level got me on the track to accumulate my skill set. I have experienced and learned sales insights in one of the biggest tech-manufacturing and selling local firms. Experiencing the institutional life under the roofs of Levetn199-Zorlu Holding Plaza in which there are more than 5 companies and 20 departments, it wasn't actually just the sales I experienced. Cutting to the chase, now I know better. I know better not only sales but marketing, finance, purchasing and even human resources in which I have no interest in. These are due to the warm realations I could get with the epmloyees, managers and especially my fellow internees who worked at distinct departments but were like in the same room(not literally:) all the time.
