Responsibilities:- Analyzing data to determine if problems exist and how they can be resolved- Acting as a liaison between engineering teams and other departments within an organization, such as manufacturing or procurement- Designing tools and processes that improve efficiency and productivity while reducing waste and costs- Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes or products, including trends in technology that could impact business models or product lines- Communicating with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that they have the information they need to deliver high quality products or services on time- Providing input regarding equipment purchases, including reviewing proposals from suppliers and testing prototypes before they are implemented- Conducting research and development on new technologies to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation- Collaborating with other engineers to develop new products or improve existing products for commercial use- Building prototypes of new products or designing new manufacturing processes based on customer specifications

- Design steel structures, perform static analysis, and prepare fabrication specifications and drawings- Manage the Fabrication team- Maintain the quality of Steel Fabrication production- Control production process and production facilities- Support project delivery requirements – time/cost/quality- Use specialized software (Autocad, SolidWorks) to assist the production process

- Production planning- Designing parts/products for internal needs as well as for customers- Optimisation of the production
