With a deep-seated passion for research, and combatting misinformation through public health, education, and community empowerment, I have committed my career to driving impactful change through evidence-based research and advocacy. Over the years, my roles have spanned various sectors, emphasizing research, fact-checking, and leadership. As the Coordinator of Project LECT (Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Career, and Training) with KLCI, I have mobilized resources and inspired volunteer teams to establish after-school programs, directly enhancing educational outcomes for over 1000 children in underserved communities. Through efforts at FactCheckAfrica, I have reached a diverse population of citizens with more than 40 quality fact-check reports, analyses and explainers articles to promote informed decision-making for the citizens and other key stakeholders. My leadership journey is marked by impactful roles, including serving as the Program Director at iFuture, where I promoted inclusive education and skill acquisition, and as the Welfare Secretary at the Interfaith Anti-Corruption Network, championing transparency and ethical practices. These roles have refined my ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive systemic change.My academic background in Human Kinetics has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention. I have conducted extensive research in areas such as exercise science and health education, underscoring my analytical capabilities and commitment to evidence-based interventions.
