Working in ABB ( Direct role) Preparing the Test Plan for AGILE driven product development of ABB Symphony Plus DCS. Managing and guiding more than 15 no. of Testers across Global locations like US, IN. Collaboration with Agile product development teams Global locations like US, IN,CN, JP and Germany. Providing Technical support to L3 teams and L4 teams based on request. Working Lean Product Development programs for early bug detection and Waste bug reduction. Defining the Test Strategy and Test Schedule for Symphony Plus DCS Project. Building global testing teams of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes, and motivation. Ensuring the timely delivery of different testing milestones. Understanding the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project and estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing. Developing the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan. Arranging the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup and Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project. Acting as the single point of contact between Development and Testing teams. Tracking and preparing the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc. Preparing / updating the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.

Deputed to working with ABB Creating and Executing Test cases & testing reporting in Microsoft Test Manager.  Defects reporting in Team foundation Server and conducting knowledge sharing sessions & Training and Managing the Test Lab Setup and Weekly status updates to the stake holders. Be aware of the current and upcoming projects in the organization. Analyze the requirements and breaks down a complex task into manageable parts. Create the software test plan, get it reviewed and approved by the relevant stakeholders. Review the test cases and test data generated by the Software Test Engineers. Determine, procure, maintain test environment (hardware, software and network).  Test plan status and Bug status test reports to the concerned stakeholders.

 Carry out PLC system hardware and software Design, Engineering Implementation, Testing and Commissioning to meet the customer’s technical specifications/requirements.  Job includes configuration and programming in the PLC using IEC61131-3 standard. Preparation of PLC I/O List and Design Documents such as FDS, DDS and O&M document. Hands on experience in PLC Application Programming and Conducting FAT and SAT. Hands on experience in SCADA graphics development and Conducting FAT and SAT. Design, Project Execution, Commissioning, Testing of PLC panels and A.C.Drives Panels.

 Able to study Connection Drawings, Cable schedule, wiring diagram, control room layout, I/O list.  Establishing communication network between central control room and the field systems. Preparing Bill of Materials and follow up with the Procurement Department. Raising Technical Queries, Reports & suggesting suitable solution to the client as per site condition. Work allocation & managing of Subcontractors, supervisors, and technicians. Develop Permissive and Interlock control logic as per the process requirement in Controller. Coordination with other departments and vendors for the startup and the commissioning. Cable laying and routing of communication network and instrument cables. Handling the SAT with the vendor in the site for the specifications. Continuity line check of instrumentation of cables from DCS marshalling panel to the field instruments. Loop Checking and Function test for all the instruments, flow, level, temperature transmitters, sensors, switches, motorized valves, pumps, electrical switchgears, etc.
