Led global team compromising of 20+ members supporting and developing legacy PLM system, and various GE PC Engineering tools portfolio.Ensured 100% business continuity @ Chennai site by supporting legacy Teamcenter and Windchill systems during their version up gradation projects Defined Engineering Tool simplification strategy for entire GE Power Conversion. Below are some of the IT initiatives led by me:• Established and maintained GE Engineering tool board which controls and manages every engineering license procurement /Maintenance renewal across Power Conversion thereby providing good visibility of entire existing tools list, budget spent .• Decommissioned/streamlined 122 Engineering tools in short span of 18 months• Rolled out CREO(3D CAD), AutoCAD (2D CAD), EPLAN (Electrical CAD), Dyrobe (Electrical Calculation tools) across GE Power Conversion which includes tools standardization , license negotiations and configuration, training & Deployment.• Simplified and consolidated Engineering tools license servers from 28 to 8 • Responsible for Engineering tool license CAPEX, budgeting, vendor management , define SOW.Complete ownership of 20+ Engineering Applications including GE Audits on security and ISO compliance.• Worked as site administrator of 150 users in Converteam-- EDC single handedly managed L2/L3 support for legacy PDM windchill and teamcennter system including multi site data transfer• Successfully upgraded the old Common PDM link system (CREO CAD repository ) into Windchill 10.1 (System currently used by all the PC- Power Electronic sites) with zero defects post upgrade• Migrated legacy Teamcenter IMAN version into TC 8.3 Unified architecture (total team size 2) with zero defects• Served as single point of contact for Engineering tools portfolio in EDC site covering end to end activities -- license purchase, vendor negotiation, license configuration,maintenance. • Represented Business SPOC for any IT related Project in the site.
