Job Responsibility undertaken as Traffic Controller in M/s Chennai Metro rail Limited:  Prepared all types of Train Timetable i.e. weekdays, weekend days, and Holidays.  Maintain punctual service of all time tabled trains. Ensure safe operation of all time tabled and non-time tabled trains.  Ensure availability of rakes for revenue operation on main line in time.  Liaison with Depot Controller, Crew Controller, Station Controllers, Train Operators and other staff for ensuring safe and scheduled service.  Monitor timely opening of all stations and efficient working of all station equipment including AFC system, lifts and escalators.  Ensure display and announcement of train information and emergency announcements to passengers.  Coordinate all activities in the event of train delays. Passing on timely information of failures to the concerned staff in the OCC.  Ensure that planned Engineers’ Possession is permitted on time and following up with maintenance divisions that they are cancelled in time for revenue service.  Monitor Passenger flow at stations so that additional services can be planned in case of unexpected increase in demand.  Have guided Train Operators in trouble shooting with the aid of Rolling Stock Controller.  Have guided Station Controllers and Train Operators during emergency situations.  Prepared various reports i.e. Punctuality report, failure reports, incident report, performance report, etc.  Conducts weekly General Order meeting.  Reports high priority failures to concerned team, HOD (operations), Director (Operations) and Managing Director then and there.
