Founded in the year 2018 on a model of community ownership, we take an innovative approach to community empowerment with a purpose to drive the renewal of the young people from underserved communities in Kenya so that future generations may thrive. This community-led approach has led to the empowerment of community social entrepreneurs by participating in sustainable projects that contribute to the quality of life and independence of individuals and communities. Goblis Foundation transforms marginalized and vulnerable young people into social entrepreneurs using a cost-effective and efficient process through community volunteers. We unbridle and nurture social entrepreneurship drive within each of the social entrepreneurs. Through personalized empowerment stages, we create original projects or improve the existing ones to help social entrepreneurs to engage in sustainable projects through self-management processes to define their own path through social innovation. In this way, Goblis Foundation empowers the youth to create resilient and self-reliant communities by establishing their own solutions instead of waiting to get employed or get handouts and donations and this solves their challenges at the roots.
