My main functions in the company are as follow: - Develop web-based applications using mainly Oracle Application Express. Find and communicate technical problems, procedures and applicable solutions. - Work as a team with the analyst to ensure functional analysis to meet customer requirements. - Follow company standards, best practices and procedures for programming. Implementation and support of production applications. - Prepare and execute unit and integrated tests.Some Responsibilities:- Creating the Royalties Billing System for the background music division in a company that is leading global provider of music and branded media. The system was created entirely on PLSQL and FPDF for the creating of the invoices.- I had the opportunity to contribute in the development of an application that simulate a google search among millions of journals. This project was developed in the educational sector. For this company I also created some modules for an application to upload and download journals.- I helped in the development of an application for a customer in the tourism sector. This project was very interesting because it was a migration from Oracle Forms and Reports to APEX 5.0- One of my projects was to work for a company in the health care area. We developed several medical procedures in different applications. This project is very special because almost all the pages are created on the fly, all the item details were stored in the tables of the database.

My main activities are oriented to support, maintain, customize or improve the applications developed in house (cif.convergia.com) and the internal processes in the company. We have built many processes and alarms to maintain under control all the company operations.Responsibilities:- I created a new security scheme for our main applications. Now the security is centralized and we reach them using REST services from ours APEX servers. This schema contains the authorization, authentication, profiles, access control list (ACL), password reset, etc. - Fraud Management System application (FMS). It was developed in Apex 4.2.5 with the object to connect to Cisco and Sonus through their API services. We use this application to manage the customer services to avoid traffic frauds. I’m responsible to maintain, develop and deploy new services. For example, I created several GET and POST RESTful services for this application because another application needed to get and modify information. - Maintain the ePos application working properly. It was developed in Apex 4.2.5 with PL/SQL processes running in its back-end. ePos is an electronic point of sale and we use it to sell virtual prepaid cards.- Maintain working properly the 1010 service. This process was developed in T-SQL procedures and we use SSIS to create the daily reports. This is the service with major profit margin in the company.- Traffic Conciliation process between carriers. Built in PL/SQL. I’m responsible to provide information each month to our internal customers because they need it to compare it with the invoice that they receive from other telecom carriers in our different branches in Latin America.

Ensure the proper operation of our Conciliation System and provide information to the Financial department for their conciliation processes between the telecom companies.Responsibilities:- Obtain traffic directly of our network to compare the traffic in the Conciliation platform.- Analyze and classify all the traffic no-conciliated (Using SQL Server). We had this kind of traffic due the natural movement in the network. In this case I create tickets to the network department to solve this kind of issues.- Keep the No Conciliated traffic under the 4% of the whole traffic by service (Long distance, 044, 045, local, etc.)Achievements:- Reduce the No conciliation traffic from approximately 2.5 million of minutes to only 40,000 minutes.Technical Environment: T-SQL, DTS, SSIS, Visual Microsoft Visual Fox 6.0 / 7.0 / 9.0, PL/SQL.

Administration of the system Magic Service Desk, which manage all the client information who calls to the help desk center. Analysis, reporting, statistics and request of information through the exploitation of databases to the campaigns department.Responsibilities:- I was in charge to maintain the correct working of the Magic Service Desk Software. Also In my responsibilities was to create all the reports from the application (using SQL Server and Visual Fox Pro )- Obtain and provide the information of our residential customers to the campaigns department.
