In my time so far at Judge Memorial, I have taught all levels of high school English. I am currently the sole instructor of the AP Capstone program, teaching AP Seminar and AP Research, which emphasize the research, argumentation, and presentation skills necessary for success in both high academia and in the professional world. Students have free choice of what they choose to study and put together research projects which are then presented to their peers and the community, allowing them to take control of their education and even implement social change through their course work.Outside of the classroom, I moderate several clubs, notably Mock Trial, Comics Club, and the Judge Adventuring Guild board and tabletop game club. I am an active member of the newly founded Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, which is composed of administrators, faculty, and students to address issues of social justice within the Judge community. Finally, I was a member of the leadership team for the recurring Kairos retreats, often acting as the retreat moderator. On these retreats, students are given a weekend away from their everyday lives and encouraged to explore their relationships with themselves and other people, to recognize the presence of love in their life, and to equip them to be sources of love and support for everyone in their community.
