Braskem is one of the largest Brazilian petrochemical companies, with industrial units in America, Europe, and Asia, serving clients in over 70 countries. I worked within the process development team, exploring new and disruptive technologies to enhance production optimization and assist the company in achieving its carbon neutrality goals. Key activities included:• Conducting mass and energy balances, performing process simulations using AspenPlus software, conducting a comparative analysis of critical performance factors based on data analysis in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI software, analysis of equipment data sheets, engineering flowcharts, and laboratory trial results.• Assisting in developing conceptual designs for incremental and/or disruptive improvements, providing technical support as a liaison between engineering companies, research institutions, and the organization in technical feasibility studies, process route definitions, equipment and system evaluations, and preliminary hazard analysis.• Researching information on alternative technologies, technological trends, and emerging technologies through articles and patents. Writing reports and presentations for patent analysis.

Intern at Citi’s Commercial Bank (CCB) segment, working with the Sales Support teams to serve Midlle Corporate companies in Northeast Brazil. Key activites included:• Preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and strategies for daily operational control, focusing on managing potential credit risk. This approach led to significant improvements in the area's key performance indicators (KPIs), particularly during the pandemic, achieved through consistent and effective follow-up with related areas and customers;• Exercising meticulous oversight of end-to-end operational processes, encompassing Account Opening, Onboarding, Credit, Foreign Exchange and Derivatives, Trade, and Lending operations, to ensure compliance and enhance efficiency;• Acting as a focal point between clients and various departments, offering exceptional technical support and ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution;• Creating and enhancing internal Operational Manuals, as well as delivering impactful presentations;• Providing comprehensive training and guidance to new interns.
