I was a tutor for the Council of African American Parents Legacy Roundtable, which is a program that strengthens the math skills of young black males. This program is designed for black males to reach calculus before they finish high school to open more opportunities for them in the future. In this position, I was in charge of a classroom of about 10 students, grades 8-11, where I tutored the students in math and, in the process, helped them prepare for standardized tests.
