JourneyWorked on an MVP application to allow foster children to stay in touch with carers that will help them integrate into society. Built using Preact that uses hooks and context for state management and GraphQL with a Ruby backend. Jest and enzyme for unit testing and Cypress for end to end testing.Donate platformThe donate journey needed modernising with streamlined user experience. The frontend layer was built using ES6 and CSS in a Ruby on Rails app with cucumber for testing.Multisite platformThe corporate website needed modernising and a solution was required to share content across multiple sites. We utilised Drupal multisite as a platform to enable the sharing of content and to reuse the theme layer. Frontend theming was achieved with a mixture of ES6, SASS and twig templating.

Developing for digital specialists in multi-channel retail, responsible for building HTML emails and accompanying landing pages along with any WordPress sites.• Developing HTML emails for clients such as thehighlight.co.uk and walkabout.eu.com, taking templates and images from the designers and making them into a cross client HTML email using Cheetahmail.• Developing landing pages to go with the emails using templates and images provided by the designers to create a cross browser compatible page.• Researching content, writing and implementing a blog post about ecommerce platforms that are available including features offered zoocha.com/blog/ecommerce-platform-selection.

With the East & North Herts NHS Trust my duties were to maintain the content of the website, keeping it up to date with new information. During my time at the Trust the site undertook a complete rebuild and was moved to the WordPress content management system. I played a big part in transferring information from the old site to the new and testing the site pre launch.

I was given the task to build an affiliate feed driven website bestbuyhdtvs.co.uk (no longer live) under the supervision of the Technical Director. This was my first experience of HTML5, I learned a great deal about industry practices.
