I am a Junior Estimator who's job functions are to effectively measure window and doors for large residential homes and the occasional commercial job. It is also my responsibility to ensure I am using the correct product within the correct application so that every aspect of the job is passed by the building inspector.

I was a member of a team of 5 people that catered largely to the commercial business customers as well as to the normal customer. Our services included product ordering, product locating, some quantitative take offs, pulling orders, setting up deliveries, product knowledge, helping the Pro Customer to the fullest of our ability and a new program called "Pro Delivery" which allowed us to deliver items to Pro Customer faster and allowing us to bypass the Delivery Department. You pretty much had to be well rounded in the store to help assist the best possible. It was an experience I will not soon forget.

I oversee the inside department and the shop to insure they run smoothly together. I also over see a Shop Service Manager and Department Manager and to help when one is in need of assistance. I review daily reports to see what areas that may need to be 'pushed. I also have to locate and ensure all 'high-dollar' items are accounted for and if they are not, notify a salaried manager to make a claim if it quailifies for it. I also have to check-in merchandise such as tires and batteries and process the purchase orders.
