Provided support to senior leaders through the interpretation of business operations, development of action plans and responses to business issues. Assisted in leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for Corporate Communications, to include the overall communications strategy, operating model, risk management, process documentation and innovation.- Selected to lead a team in assessing donations and field operations for Armed Services YMCA leadership. Provided senior executives and board members a suggested donor profile, recommendations on fundraisingchanges, improving brand identity, personalizing donor experiences and improved donor communication.- Arranged and facilitated 16 professional development fireside chats between frontline employees and VPs/SVPs from across the enterprise.

Led the Navy's Southwest Texas enlisted and officer recruiting efforts as Executive Officer (13 months) and Commanding Officer (22 months). Guided a diverse staff of 225 military, contractor and civilian personnel, spread across 40 offices, in achieving all recruiting targets by utilizing training and process efficiency improvements that improved productivity while reducing applicant attrition. Executed a restructuring of operations, based on organizational analysis, that reduced expenses by consolidating offices to improve brand awareness and market penetration in key areas. Attained or exceeded recruiting goals by supplementing staff efforts by growing and strengthening connections with community leaders, targeted marketing and increasing Navy awareness.

Executive Officer of a multi-billion dollar warship with a crew of 250 officer and enlisted sailors. Managed all administrative functions and six departmental directors in day to day operations, while being extensively involved in the planning and execution of all ship operations, functions and missions. Guided the training and development for 250 persons working in logistics, engineering, administration, operations and weapons, leading to full mission accomplishment during a 7 month deployment and the ship earning 4 of 5 excellence awards for the first time in 5 years. Guided the on-time and on-budget completion of a six month $25M dry-dock maintenance availability through extensive planning, daily oversight and risk management.

Led a department of 150 personnel responsible for all voice and data communications, network security, weapons systems and physical security for a ship with up to 2,600 persons onboard. My detailed training and professional development plan resulted in 10% of personnel accounting for 25% of all promotions. Management of assigned responsibilities to include the operation and cyber security of 5 computer networks with over 2,500 users while collaborating with peers contributed to the ship winning the Fleet Excellence Award 2 of 3 years assigned.
